This Week in Social Eating

In Uncategorized on July 19, 2012 at 7:00 am

Join in on the Tomato Love Recipe Exchange over at Gimme Some Oven. The exchange is part of International Justice Mission’s Recipe for Change summer program.

Recipe for Change is all about educating the public about the modern-day slavery happening in the United States- largely on tomato farms in Florida- and changing that. Join in the project here.

Interested in what you saw on Monday’s post? Host your own at-home screening of The Dark Side of Chocolate for as little as $6.

Read a concise, thoughtful commentary on “How Eating with the Seasons Teaches Gratitude” (as opposed to shipping in everything we want because we want it NOW and not really knowing our sources.<—my thoughts added).
